In 1958 established as a fish tavern for the locals.In the ‘‘love and peace '' time, the sixties there were tourists ...( Hippies), camping on the beach and enjoying the Cretan flavours in the tavern.In the 70 ‘s the place was visited by Christina Onassis who was dancing on ’‘Zorbas The Greek’’ and paid the bills of everybody in the Tavern, probably she had a wonderful time.In the 80’s it changed owner and name, and became Dolphin beach bar.In that time more and more tourist were visiting Malia as well Dolphin Beach bar, it was the biggest place of the area with water sports as well. In 1993, it changed one more time from an owner.More and more tourist came to Malia and it was it right place for Beach Parties and Events with DJ’s.
